Well, this week did not go AT ALL as I had hoped. Busy schedule kept me from doing much translating or scanning, so “25 Days of Rockman” has been a spectacular failure so far (like Dr. Wily, all my failed schemes are special). At any rate, I’ll be playing some catch up this weekend. Pretend they were posted on the proper days, pretty please?
Side note, if any of you readers are playing the Japanese version of Rockman XOVER (what are the odds of that, I wonder) I’ve put my friend ID code up. Check the “XOVER” tab at the top of the page if this applies to you. Be sure to drop yours there too so we can all get cheesey special cards. Cuz that’s the name of the game.

I don’t even have a smartphone at the time of this writing, but leaving my personal feelings about Xover aside, I’m curious to know if the game has any noteworthy contents beyond what I saw at news sites. I wasn’t expecting the older Kalinka, for one.
Pertaining to gameplay or story? I have not beaten the game yet, but I will say I have been a bit disappointed with the lack of storytelling so far. I expected that quests might accomplish story-oriented things, like meeting or saving the original heroes from the other series. You do gain new armors and such, but I didn’t feel much like the adventure was progressing, so to speak. As it stands, plot details have been simply directly explained by Kalinka and then pretty much immediately forgotten as the game moved on to focus on quests,team battles, etc. If you’ve seen the videos of the Flutter following the map through the dimensional vortex to go fight a master boss, you’ve probably seen the best the game has to offer in cinematics thus far. But the game is still receiving updates and promises one soon on the day of Rockman’s anniversary, so perhaps some things will improve in this regard.
I see. I was hoping for more info in general, including gameplay and story, so thanks for the reply. Can you tell me if the bosses are limited to classic and X series characters, and if Kalinka mentions anything of interest (even if it has no bearing on the game itself)? I never expected anything groundbreaking (it’s a mobile game after all), but I’ve been surprised before.
