Sealab 20XX

On sinking Dr. Wily, and a few other random bits about MM:RM.

Just throwing together some leftover pics from the last post.

The Dr. Wily battle can be confusing at first, because you’re not really sure what to be shooting at, and it seems like nothing you do inflicts any damage.

The first step is actually to destroy the red shield below Wily’s cockpit. But be warned, the shots you fire at it will ricochet back, so keep moving up and down to avoid getting hit.

Once the armor plate is gone… you’ll probably wish it was still on. Now Wily starts attacking with torpedos and lasers, which leave him vulnerable just before he fires.

Keep dodging his onslaughts and returning fire, and you’ll destroy his best offense.

His main weapons are gone, and look! There’s a crack in the cockpit! You know what to do. The rest is a cakewalk.

Now back to Dr. Light’s for some hardcore partying in International Waters. But hey, has he done something different with the place? Dr. Light’s maritime headquarters is a little different in every scene.

There are two different kinds of computer consoles whose monitors change from Rush’s head to some data images and then “off”. Then there’s these crane things, too.

Maybe he’s a compulsive re-decorator. He’s gotta find something to do while Mega Man is off saving the oceans. Any comment on that, doctor?

Your silence says it all.

Sounds like this Wily fight is just as hard as any in the main series–then again, I could be wrong.

Dr. Light can't decide how he wants the lab to be. XD

Must be why his lab never looks the same 2 games in a row.

I am a big fan of Megaman, but one thing is for sure, it is not that easy to beat Megaman games
